The second captain for this Sat will be Rachael for her three terrific goals including her rip into the side netting.

Offensive tips/thought of the week:
#1) Most games in soccer end 1-0. This season doesn’t reflect how important the goal scoring is.
#2) There are few goal scoring opportunities in the game. In the penalty box you need to raise your awareness to the ball, the players and open spaces. It is rare that you get a clean look at goal but be ready for the half chance where you shoot and it may not go in, but it can go to a team mate, corner kick, or worse case we prepare to defend the goal kick.
Defensive tips/thoughts of the week:
#1) When defending a header in the air in front of your goal. Challenge your opponent by jumping and creating a more difficult header. You don’t need to get the ball just make it much more difficult for her to head it towards our goal.
