U18 Alliance Boys Sign College Letters!

Congratulations to our 2010 graduates who have made college commitments to Skagit Valley College.  The Cardinal Men’s Soccer program is excited to announce several quality players inked for the 2010 season. These former FC Alliance players will play an immediate impact on their success in the fall.

Andy Townsend, FC Alliance ’91 A-Renkert
Townsend helped his FC Alliance U-18 Boys team a semi-final finish in 2010 Washington State Cup - Champions Bracket. Currently, he is playing for Inglemoor High School and hoping to have a successful season with the Vikings.

"Andy will bring some needed help in our back line in the fall. He has good size and reads the game exceptionally well. Andy’s most valuable asset to our team is his passion to the game of football. He loves a good challenge but he is ready to helped others when the opportunity arises."

Brandon Rise, FC Allliance ’91 A-Renkert

Rise is 2009 All Kingco - Honorable Mention and currently playing for Coach Alex Zahajko at Bothell High School. The Cougars are prospected to finish in the top of the league during preseason polls in 2010 and is looking to make deep run in the state playoffs.

"Brandon looks to continue his soccer success here at SVC this fall. He is able to win individual battle offensively and is looking to notch some goals for the Cardinals. Brandon is a creative player that also works extremely hard off the football offensively and defensively."

Jacob Vaughn, FC Alliance ’91 B-Umana
